Mako Genesis 2.1 Wetsuit Woman

Our entry level suit, the GENESIS 2. 1, is ideal for beginners or those on a budget and you will not find a better value-for-money suit packed with this much attention to detail anywhere else. The Genesis has been completely re-designed from our previous entry level suit to provide better freedom of movement in the upper body combined with performance and thermal comfort.

Features:

– Collar: 1.5mm Yamamoto #39 low cut collar to avoid irritation from rubbing and pressure on the throat. S-Skin surface treatment. Arms and shoulders: the 1.5mm Yamamoto #39 Smoothskin neoprene and extra supple inner jersey allow for complete liberty of movement.
– Wrists: The wrist are high cut to allow slick removal and extra-fast transitions. for Torso and Thighs: 4.5mm Yamamoto #38 neoprene gives added buoyancy and an excellent glide through the water. The inner surface is laminated with lycra jersey for addedcomfort. S-Skin surface treatment.
– Back : 3mm Yamamoto #38 S-Skin neoprene and an invisible zip minimise water entry and turbulence whilst optimising penetration through the water. The zip closes bottom to top.
– The inner Jersey is lycra for added comfort and ease of removal. Calves : 3mm Yamamoto #38 S-Skin neoprene combined with high cut ankle allowing lightening fast transitions.

– invisiZip : our invisible zip system allows our suits to have great hydrodynamics and also reduces water entry, keeping you warmer.
– SCS : this is a surface layer that both protects the neoprene and reduces drag through water.
– Low cut collar : our collars are cut extra low to avoid chaffing and any possibility of feeling strangled.
– Smoothskin : this refers to neoprene that has a smooth impermeable surface allowing for good glide and penetration through the water.
– SCS Metal coating: the metal reflects body heat back inwards in the water to help retain an ideal body temperature for longer and colder swims during Swimrun races and training.
– Soft Touch Jersey : lycra jersey that increases the comfort of our suits and allows for lightening quick transitions (as well as making them easier to get on!)
– Super-stretch Jersey : this jersey inner allows for unparalleled liberty of shoulder movement as it has been woven to stretch in all directions.
